Women’s O.60s League ~ Information & Entry Form

We are delighted to announce our inaugural holding of the Women’s Over 60s League in the Autumn. This follows requests from various Clubs to organise a league for the more mature female players in our Clubs.
Matches will be played at 11a.m. on Wednesday mornings. Round Robin matches will be scheduled on 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th September and 4th October. Play Off dates will be decided and published, once we have received all entries.
We will be using the Men’s Over 65 League Rules. Please note the following:-
1. Players who reach the age of 60 by 31st December 2023 are eligible to compete.
2. Each Fixture shall consist of 3 doubles matches, with a Championship Tie-break (first to 10 points) to operate as the 3rd set.
This league is separate to our Senior League played on Sunday afternoons and players are eligible to participate in both.
We hope this will be a successful and enjoyable league for all players, so we need your co-operation and support. We will require a minimum of 12 teams to enter and we would like to have two Classes. To assist us in placing teams in the correct Class, we would ask that you would use the Special Requests section on the Entry Form to indicate the Summer League standard of the proposed players on your team(s).
Closing date for receipt of entries and fees is Tuesday 8th August 2023.
