Muriel Bolton Award 2019 ~ Call for Nominations

The Dublin Lawn Tennis Council is seeking nominations from Clubs for the Muriel Bolton Perpetual Trophy. This award recognises the long contribution of Muriel Bolton to the promotion and running of the Dublin Leagues over a period of more than 40 years.

This annual award is made by the Council to a Female Administrator/Player, who in the opinion of the Council has, over a number of years, made a significant contribution to the development and promotion of Dublin League Tennis.

The Criteria are:

Female and over 35 years of age
Be a current, active administrator/player or have been within the very recent past.
Over a period of years have contributed to the development and promotion of Dublin Leagues at club and/or Council level.
Have made a significant contribution that has benefitted Dublin League Tennis.

The trophy is presented annually at the Finals of the Ladies Senior League. A replica trophy is presented to the recipient for her to retain.

If you feel that anyone in your club would be a worthy recipient of this award, please ask your Club Secretary to forward relevant details concerning the individual and the club’s reason why she should be considered for this award to the DLTC Office as soon as possible, but before the end of August 2019.
