Muriel Bolton Award 2016

On Sunday 23rd October 2016, the Muriel Bolton Award for 2016 was presented to Mary Ryan of Sutton LTC.

This Award is made annually to a Lady member of any club affiliated to the Dublin Lawn Tennis Council who in the opinion of the Council has made a significant contribution as a player or administrator to the Dublin Leagues. This award recognises the long contribution of the late Muriel Bolton to the promotion and running of the Dublin Leagues over a period of more than 40 years.

Mary Ryan has served on the Management Committee of Sutton LTC, was Lady Captain in 1995 and is a regular League player for her Club.  She has been a volunteer on the Bar in Sutton LTC for twenty years. Mary has been a Councillor on the DLTC since 1999.  Her commitment to the game of tennis and to her club is undoubted.
